Troy a d\u00e9vou\u00e9 les 25 derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019excellence en leadership et en gestion dans de nombreux secteurs, notamment les t\u00e9l\u00e9communications, la recherche et d\u00e9veloppement, les logiciels, l\u2019\u00e9nergie et les services publics, o\u00f9 il a occup\u00e9 des postes de direction dans la prestation de services, les op\u00e9rations et le d\u00e9veloppement des affaires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Troy is currently the Director of Business Development with NB Power, responsible to lead, develop, and direct business initiatives focused on regional opportunities to expand NB Power\u2019s core business in transmission, generation, and export markets. He is focused on developing NB Power\u2019s business within Eastern Canada and the New England States through collaboration with neighbouring utilities, developers, and government agencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Avant de joindre \u00c9nergie NB, Troy a travaill\u00e9 aupr\u00e8s des services publics, des industries et des institutions de recherche dans tous les coins du Canada et du monde en gestion de la transformation des entreprises, en modernisation du r\u00e9seau et sur la transition \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique. En tant que responsable de Siemens Power Technologies International (PTI), Troy \u00e9tait charg\u00e9 de la strat\u00e9gie, du d\u00e9veloppement commercial, des op\u00e9rations et de la livraison de services pour le cabinet de conseil PTI. Avant de joindre Siemens, Troy a occup\u00e9 des postes de cadre dans l\u2019innovation, le d\u00e9veloppement de nouveaux produits et services et la gestion de programmes et de portefeuilles dans des entreprises telles que Bell Aliant, Innovatia, iMagicTV et Provinent Corporation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A former graduate of the University of New Brunswick\u2019s Technology Management and Entrepreneurship program himself, Troy has been teaching Managing Engineering and IT Projects at the university since 2004 where he\u2019s been recognized with the Leadership in Education Award (2013) and the Teaching Excellence Award (2023).\u00a0Troy likes to volunteer time in the industry and community and currently sits on the boards of the New Brunswick Energy Cluster as well as Inclusion New Brunswick, and has been a mentor with Energia Ventures – an accelerator for entrepreneurs in the energy, clean tech, and cybersecurity sectors.
